Description
A powerful account of how British missionaries, Peter and Brenda Griffiths, with a team of dedicated staff, developed a hospital and school whilst establishing a network of churches in north-eastern Rhodesia.
Bravely despite the growing war of independence and surrounding violence, the missionaries continue to work alongside national colleagues. But a horrible atrocity engulfed the school as guerrillas slaughtered almost all of the staff. In the devastating aftermath, Peter and Brenda called for the attackers to be forgiven.
This is a story of love & loss, of suffering & new life, of hatred & forgiveness, told through the eyes of their son Stephen. Through Peter and Brenda’s faithfulness, God continues to build His church in Zimbabwe.
