G Christian Weiss is the “Voice of Foreign Missions” for the Back to the Bible Broadcast. He began his gospel ministry as a pastor in Grove City, Minnesota. Since that time he has had a varied missionary career. From 1933 through 1935, under the auspices of The Northern Gospel Mission, he took the gospel to the settlers, iron miners and lumberjacks of northern Minnesota. At the close of 1935 he went to Morrocco, where he served as a missionary under the Gospel Missionary Union the following three years. From 1940 through 1951 he served as the president and general diretor of the Gospel Missionary Union. In 1952 he joined the Back to the Bible Broadcast, where he has been the director of missions since that time. He received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from John Brown University and is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society of England.
