Description
This book is written for the many people today, who, as the author says in his preface, ‘are friendly towards Christianity, but are not convinced of its truth. They have a sneaking suspicion that it is not intellectually resepectable. They were perhaps brought up to accept it uncriticslly, but, when they began to ask questions for themselves, they found it easier to discard the religion of their childhood than to take the trouble to investigate its credentials.’ The book examines the character and claims of Christ, the fact of sin, the meaning of the death of Christ, and what is involved in becoming a Christian.
