However, with careful planning, people with sight loss can maintain their dignity when getting married and participate fully in the wedding services of others. In this episode, Linn shares her own experiences of getting married as a blind person, and Matthew shares his experiences of singing in weddings in the Cathedral choir.

Orders of service can be made available in braille or large print. We talk about this, and the nuances of following them. “Turn to face the west screen as the cross passes” is easy enough to understand, but hard for people to do when they can’t see the cross!
